I have joined ‘TheBestCamera.com‘ community.

Quote from the website:

What is The Best Camera?
The Best Camera Is The One That’s With You™, but it’s also an inspirational 3-part “ecosystem” created by world-renowned photographer, Chase Jarvis. Introducing an iPhone app that allows you to shoot, edit and share your images; a book that celebrates photography with any camera; AND a thriving, online community made of iPhone images from around the world.

Old car front end

by naturephoto on Sep.21, 2009, under iPhone

Photo of front of old car captured with the iPhone 3Gs and processed with the iPhone PhotoForge application and with ShakeItPhoto to provide the Polaroid look.

Unsharp mask filter was applied to the photo using PhotoForge and then erased from the car body so that only the headlights and front grill were sharpened. Poor man’s masking! The vibrance filter was added to give it a blueish tint before loading it in ShakeItPhoto.

As part of the Montreal Canadiens Hockey club’s 100th Anniversary (1909-2009) the Bell Center plaza was modified to include some statues of past players as well as plaques marking each of the years of the Canadiens many Stanley Cup wins. The plaques are surrounded by bricks labeled names of players from those Stanley Cup winning teams.

This model will be the direct competition for the Nikon D300S. The 7D will be available at the end of September. (continue reading…)
