Review of ‘TWIP – This Week In Photography’ and ’7 Photography Questions’ Photography related podcasts.
I want to suggest two very good photography related audio podcasts that I follow regularly.
1 – TWiP – This Week in Photography
Hosts: Scott Bourne, Alex Lindsay
This weekly audio podcast is published every Monday night (or Tuesday). Each episode is around 60 minutes and it has 3 main components:
- News – covering photo equipment, imaging software and photography related news events.
- Listener questions – answers to questions sent in by listeners covering various photography topics.
- Guest Interviews – Interviews with photographers or others with close ties to photography.
TWiP also occasionally publishes short instructional video podcasts. This podcast started at the beginning of 2008 and 49 podcasts have been published in its first nine months.

2 – 7 Photography Questions
Host: Audri Lanford
This weekly audio podcast is published every Monday. Each episode consists of a 60 minute interview with a photographer. The host asks 7 questions that are selected from questions sent in from subscribers of the podcast. The link of the guest photographer website is available for each podcast as well as a selection of a handful of pictured sent in by the photographer which he/she comments on.
The format is simple and the guests are very interesting.
