I attended the ‘Photoshop CS3 for Photographers Tour’ by Ben Willmore from the Adobe Photoshop Seminar Tour in Ottawa on June6. Learn more in the course review.
I found this to be a top notch seminar. What I have learned in any one of the 4+1 sessions in that seminar was well worth the price of admission. Ben Willmore is an excellent presenter and was able to simplify and present the course material in an easy to understand manner. This is a great seminar for any photographer that wants to learn how to use the power of ‘Curves’ and ‘Hue Saturation’ in Photoshop CS3. This course will help you demystify Photoshop Curves and allow you to gain greater control over tonal and color adjustments of you photos.
This seminar is not about learning cookie cutter recipes but rather learning and understanding how things work also when and how to use them in your workflow.
The course handbook is very good and includes all the material covered in the seminar.
Even if you do not own Photoshop CS3 most of the course material will apply to your version as well.
Rating: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The four main sessions of the course were:
Curves for Tonal Adjustment
Curves for Color
HSB & Adjustment Layers
Advanced Masking
